Who is responsible
This site is run by Natalia Halenda, Sales Representative, RE/MAX Jazz Inc., Brokerage, 21 Drew Street, Oshawa ON L1H 4Z7. Questions about privacy go to hello@nataliahalenda.com or 905 242 6568.
What is collected
- What you type into the question box and the assistant, and the assistant's replies.
- If you create an account: your name, email, and phone number if you choose to give it, plus the date, time and IP address when you accept the VOW terms.
- Searches you save, homes you save, and alerts you turn on.
- Addresses you enter into the home value tool and numbers you enter into calculators, when you ask to have results emailed.
- Text messages and calls to Natalia's office number, including voicemail transcripts.
- Usage data: pages viewed, listings opened, time on page, device and browser type, and the page that referred you here.
Why
- To answer your questions with live listing and market data.
- To show sold prices and price history to registered users, as the MLS rules require.
- To send the alerts and reports you asked for, and to follow up by text or email when you have consented to that.
- To let Natalia see what you asked about so she can help when you are ready.
- To understand which parts of the site are useful and fix what is not.
The AI assistant
The assistant on this site is software, not a person, and it says so at the start of every conversation. It answers using listing data, market statistics, calculators and notes Natalia has written. Conversations are stored so Natalia can read them and so the assistant can remember what you asked earlier in the same visit. Conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude API under contract terms that do not permit training on your data. Do not share passwords, financial account numbers or government identification in the assistant.
Text messages and email
Natalia's office sends text messages and emails only with your express consent, which is recorded with the date, the source, and the exact wording you saw. Every message identifies Natalia Halenda, RE/MAX Jazz Inc., Brokerage, and tells you how to stop. Reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email, and messaging ends immediately. No messages are sent between 9 pm and 9 am your local time. This follows Canada's anti spam legislation (CASL).
Cookies and analytics
The site uses a session cookie to keep you signed in, a visitor cookie so the assistant remembers your conversation during a visit, and analytics (PostHog and Vercel Analytics) to measure how pages are used. Analytics may record how you move through a page so problems can be found. No advertising cookies are used, and no data is sold. Essential cookies do not need consent in Canada; this notice is the disclosure.
Who sees your data
Natalia and the people who run this site for her. Service providers that process data on the site's behalf: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Anthropic (assistant), Twilio (text and voice), Postmark (email), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error reporting), and Repliers (listing data). Some of these providers store data in the United States. Your data is not given to other real estate agents or brokerages, and is not sold to anyone.
How long it is kept
Account and lead records are kept while the account is active and for up to seven years after the last contact, because real estate records have statutory retention periods. Assistant conversations that never identified you are deleted after 12 months. Analytics data is kept for 12 months. You can shorten any of this by asking for deletion.
Your rights
- Ask what is held about you and get a copy.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Withdraw consent for texts and emails at any time.
- Delete your account and data. Use the delete option in your account page, or email hello@nataliahalenda.com. Deletion is completed within 30 days, except where a record must be kept by law.
- Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you are not satisfied with how a request was handled.
Children
This site is for adults. No one under 18 should create an account.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and registered users are told by email.
